Out to the cornfield with them! (But first, turn them into gophers with three heads.)
Poor Bill Hollis. All he wanted on his birthday was to knock back a few Peach brandys and listen to his Perry Como record. And Anthony turned him into a jack-in-the-box.
With a bad face.
On second thought, Bill was disruptive. That’s a good thing Anthony did, a real good thing!
“Eye of the Beholder” was the one about the beautiful woman.
They were all scary! LOL!
Sounds like you had a splendid day off. LOL!
Pretty babies for company. They do the “roadkill” pose very well. hee! We have several in that pose throughout the house tonight and I hope they stay that way. It means they’re QUIET. :-)
Took the quiz. Supposedly”THE MONSTERS ARE DUE ON MAPLE STREET” is the one that creeps me out.
I also enjoyed the one about the spinster living with her uncle, an inventor who was always tormenting her because they didn’t like each other.
But she was his heir and put up with it, and waited on him hand-and-foot.
He dies, so she thinks she’s in clover and starts living the life with her inheritance: fancy clothes, restaurants, etc.
Little did she know that he had built a robot in the basement that was his mechanical replica. She goes back to being a drudge—for the robot.
“Bar-ba-ra! Bar-ba-ra!”
Hm....well...guess instead of taking it, you could just tell us which episode scared the dickens out of you! LOL!
There are lots of good choices!
Dang the luck!
Had to make a run out to the garage to let Hubby know he needed to return a phone call to a buddy and was gone at the wrong time.
WOOHOO!! Ya got the 50!
I remember the guy having the time at last to read, but am not remembering the twist. Why was it a nightmare? (Maybe I blocked it out!)
Exactly...quiet is the watchword!
Roadkill pose was precisely what I was thinking earlier today when I saw Peaches [who is the one closest to the camera] sprawled out on the floor. LOL! GMTA!
FWIW the beautiful girl in this was Donna Douglas of Beverly Hillbillies fame.
If she was so clever, why didn’t she just move somewhere else. LOL!
I had forgotten that!
That’s the one!
Hi Luv. Sez here this week that I fear “The Invaders” or I suppose iin a political sense that means illegal aliens. Oh, the horrors. :-)
Howdy, Kathy! (((hugs)))
Thanks for the ping-a-ling! Did Twilight Zone scare you? Or do Tuesdays! :)
I see the episode these days and laugh but it scared me badly when I was a kid.
I kept a pile of socks on the end of the bed at night. When I woke up to go to the bathroom, I’d toss one on the floor and step on it, knowing that was a safe spot. Did that all the way down the hall to the bathroom, then picked them up on the way back to the bed. No way I was gonna fall through one of those holes if one opened in the floor! ROTFL!!
I was an impressionable child apparently.
We’re enjoying the quiet while it lasts. The moon will be full this weekend and it’ll like a NASCAR track in here. VROOM!
Hi Luv! Late to the party, but that’s because I have “Time Enough at Last.”
It’s interesting the quiz picked this particular episode for me. As an introverted mypoic bookish kid mself, I found this the saddest Twilight Zone episode. I had a lot of empathy for Burgess Meredith.
