My view is - don’t have a view.

If people want to have “gay reparative therapy” or “homosexual repair crystal essence mojo therapy” its NO political party’s position to support them, and certainly no political party’s position to ban them.

The GOP often falls into these traps.

If you are against reparative therapy, shouldnt you also be against the AA and drug rehab? How about Weigh Watchers?

”.. the state’s Republican lieutenant governor said Friday that Texas is ready to forfeit billions of federal [emphasis added] dollars rather than comply with a new Obama administrative directive on transgender rights in public schools. … "

With all due respect to the Texas lieutenant governor, he evidently does not understand the following about the “federal” dollars that Texas would be forfeiting concerning PC transgender restrooms.

Probably most of the forfeited “federal” dollars are arguably Texas state revenues that the corrupt feds stole from Texas, and the other states, by means of unconstitutional federal taxes.

In fact, note that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that Congress is prohibited from appropriating taxes in the name of state power issues, essentially any issue which Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Remember in November !

When patriots elect Trump, they also need to elect a new, state sovereignty-respecting Congress that will work within its Section 8-limited powers to support the new president, including putting a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes and likewise unconstitutional federal interference in state affairs, deciding policy for PC transgender restrooms in this example.

Also consider that such a Congress would probably be willing to fire state sovereignty-ignoring activist justices.

Don’t make it illegal for those who want help from homosexuality to seek it.

You don’t have to support it, you just need to support liberty for those who wish to seek this kind of therapy.

The sad thing is that those who vehemently oppose such therapy are trying to hide the fact that so many of the “gender confused” were horribly abused as children and suffer severe mental and emotional issues. I know a couple who are in their 60s and going to therapy on a weekly basis - their stories make my heart want to sob for them.
