With the Republican presidential nomination locked up, Donald Trump has already started cutting “secret deals” to surround himself with familiar faces, we’re told. And Confidenti@l has learned that one of those faces belongs to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
“A secret deal has been struck by Donald Trump, and Rudy Giuliani would be head of Homeland Security,” according to a GOP insider.
There’s no doubt that Trump could use a secretary of Homeland Security who can at least tell a skyscraper from a Slurpee machine. A couple of weeks ago, while campaigning in Buffalo, the bloviating billionaire recalled watching rescue workers “down at 7/11” after the World Trade Center was destroyed on Sept 11, 2001.

First that comment about 711 refers to a fire station near ground zero. The fire chief even did a press conference about that indicating Trump was near the 711 fire station after the twin towers went down. So that is totally false.
Secondly, what are the sources for this Giuliani intel? They have no sources so the entire story is bogus.

I will happily eat my hat if Trump actually eliminates the Department of Education, but I don’t expect to eat my hat.
NO F-ING WAY! DHS oversees ICE, and Giuliani is 100% pro-illegal alien and has carried out and proposed policies as NYC mayor to ignore, accomodate and even assist foreign nationals present in violation of Federal laws. He is therefore disqualified from such an office.
