Donald J. Trump said Friday that he doesnt believe voters have a right to see his tax returns, and insisted its none of your business when pressed on what tax rate he himself pays a question that tripped up Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential race.
Mr. Trump made the comments in an interview on ABCs Good Morning America, as he continued to try to answer questions about his change in explanations over the last year about why he wont release the taxes.
When the interviewer, George Stephanopoulos asked Mr. Trump directly if he thought voters had a right to see his returns, something that presidential nominees have provided for roughly 40 years, the candidate replied, I dont think they do.
Mr. Trump added: But I do say this, I will really gladly give them not going to learn anything but its under routine audit. When the audit ends Ill present them. That should be before the election. I hope its before the election.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Every time he tells the press to go F*** themselves I am going to donate more money
That’s the correct answer to all this tax return nonsense.
Tell the media that the American people think ones tax return is personal private business, and just because a person runs for public office, they are not obliged to make this information public.
No one running for Mayor, city councliman, or school board member would want to be forced do to so. And it’s not because they are hiding anything, it’s because their income and tax status are none of anybody’s business.
Then after the IRS “leaks” it, come down on them like a ton of bricks!
He is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT
If the IRS has no fault with his taxes, then its no one’s business how much he makes or pays
Now - if he ran a mega foundation that took $130 million from a few middle east countries while he was serving in public office
and dispersed about 4% of its total tax sheltered donations to real charity -
maybe we’d want a better look
Really the only thing I’m concerned with is the amount/% that a person gives to bonafide charities.
It’s generally a pretty good indication of a individuals underlying character.
DONALD TRUMP - None of Your Business - 2016
The man is a genius.
I agree in general but I would make an exception for the owner of the Clinton Foundation.
Who cares? This is exactly why the NY Times is failing.
“Releasing tax returns has no basis in law - it is not required “
The fun part is the reason WHY. When the republic began, there were no income taxes AT ALL. Nobody had to file anything with the government about their life.
How did we fund the government? Tariffs of course! This election is a blast!
That was the greatest answer I ever heard in my life.
Had Mitt delivered it, instead of cowering to Harry Reid, he might be running for his reelection.
Tell me how many Hillary supports that aren't political payoffs.

Not necessarily. You can pull up any number of news stories where Trump has gone out of his way to help people, either with money, resources, or manpower. I would not be surprised if he doesn’t report that.
Kudos
A clear example of how the media slants the story. He did not say “It’s none of your business.” He said he didn’t think voters “had a right to see” his returns. I agree.
How about Hillary’s paper?? It was sealed. Let’s see some more of crooked Hillary.
Someone says something, they expect some wimpy little republican to shiver under his desk, and he comes out with F U people, it's MY business, don't like it, tuff....
ROFLMAO...GO.TRUMP.GO!!!
I agree, “None of their business.” We all know he is rich, he owns lots of companies, even has a 757. Big deal. Happy for his success.
What message? I don't think he had anything to do with writing the current tax code.
I believe the Clinton Foundation has already been caught on some “crooked” dealings.
