Until I started seeing Cruz on TV...the “debates”, at so-called rallies, etc, I believed him to be very smart and a real conservative anti-establishment guy....

After hearing him speak, seeing the actions he took when he got behind in the primaries, I saw Cruz as nothing more than a “professional politician” who will say whatever it takes and “buddy” up to whoever to get ahead. He could not speak to normal, everyday, patriotic Americans in a way they could relate...His polished, politician speaking was artificial sounding when he just tried to converse without a microphone...

Trump, on the other hand, spoke TO the people, not AT the people...He spoke in a way that everyone could see just what was in his heart...That was a huge difference maker for me...

Now, I want Trump as president and would like to never see Cruz active in politics again...

Well said. I had the same opinion of Cruz. Great respect for him initially, till I discovered his real agenda and constant lies.

The sad thing is that Cruz has been in politics most of his adult life albeit all but
the senator position wasn’t elective. I truly don’t think he has a comprehension of
the working person nor what it takes to make a business successful.
