I’ve been thinking Newt for some time now. Newt would be perfect for VP. Trump needs someone to work with Congress to pass his agenda. No body better then Newt at working with Congress. Plus Newt is an out side the box thinker, with a quick wit and a shape tongue. Perfect choice, but does he help win the election? Another old white guy? hmmmm.

The concept of the VP bringing a state in or a region doesn't work IMHO. Look at last 4 or 5 VP's GHWB? please big disappointment, Gore? epic fail. Now Cheney? If GWB listened too him more, maybe he would have been more of a success...

With that said and the Cheney model, maybe a wise old sage as VP who can't run again or is too old or doesn't want it as a team-mate since POTUS is such a big job today is the model we should be looking at.

IMHO the Cheney VPcy will be looked at in the next 10 r 20 years with a historical perspective as one of the best VP's evvvah...
