On May 10 former Navy SEAL 10 member Carl Higbie published Enemies, Foreign and Domestic: A Navy SEALs Story. The book highlights the difficulty of winning on the battle under President Obama and the equally daunting task of telling the truth of the enhanced politicization of the military post-George W. Bush.
Enemies, Foreign and Domestic contains a lot of information for individuals who have wondered what it is like to be a SEAL or what the process of becoming a SEAL entails, and it provides background on Higbie and his childhood experiences. But the book ultimately turns on the unnecessary death of SEAL Tyler Trahan and on Higbies involvement in Operation Amberthe operation launched to capture Al-Isawi, the Butcher of Fallujah, in September, 2009.
Trahan was an explosives ordinance disposal technician (EOD) who went out with Marines for a break in the monotony during Higbies second deployment. While Trahan was out, Higbie heard a huge explosion close to base and upon investigation realized Trahan had been killed.

No worries, I’m in contact with the other author, he even sent me a book. It’s very anti-PC with a military context about the JAG weenies, ROE, etc.
Obama and his Nazi ‘RATS don’t like winners. They look at everything, even war, as, Everybody Gets A Trophy. The ‘RATS didn’t want to see their Muzzie pals being embarrassed. OBAMA can KMA.
My military retirement was signed by Clinton - it never has and never will be hung on the wall.
When I retired as a civilian, I hated that Obama would have his name on that paperwork - then found out I could request any former, still living (or I would have chose Reagan) President to sign those papers.
Don't have that up either - it wouldn't seem right to not have the military stuff in a box and the civilian stuff on the wall.
I'm actually sort of a Spartan - if it wan't for the wife, the house would be free of decorative 'touches"....
Serving under Jimmah was bad enough.
I was so terrified when my son enlisted under the muzzie.
