Prior to 2008 anyone with half a brain would realize anytime a foreign government or individual donates money like that it’s a payoff.

In government and in industry, there's a gift/bribe rule that anything over a nominal amount -- $50 or $100, I think -- can't be accepted, because it might be considered a bribe. Even an elaborate dinner is off-limits in many situations.

I'm sure Bill and Hil are well aware of the "avoiding even the appearance of impropriety" standard. This is so far out of line, so bold, I can't imagine we don't hear about it 24/7.

Ya think maybe Donald will bring it up?
