Mitt Romney is keeping up the pressure on Donald Trump to release his tax returns.
The 2012 GOP presidential nominee is suggesting the real reason Trump is not releasing his tax returns is that the billionaire is hiding

Repubs keep losing because they are afraid to appear ungentlemanly in their attack on an opponent, as the MSM will then go after them for the same thing the demoncrats do over and over. i think Newt returned the MSM fire during the 2012 primary race for the nomination, and because of that fire-in-the belly approach appeared to be gaining ground for a moment.

i think you may be on to something, as i wondered whether Mitt believed when he attacked Trump that that would lead to a brokered convention where he would become the nominee. i believe that he thought they would turn to him after Trump was sidelined. how stupid is that, as i believe the GOPe were using Mitt in order to achieve what the primaries did not, and that is Jeb Bush becoming the nominee.
We’ll probably never know why Romney didn’t fight this hard against Obama when he had the chance.
Maybe Romney’s kicking himself for that right now and feeling extremely envious of Trump’s current position. So this is like a compensatory way of fighting the fight he was too impotent to conduct 4 years ago.
Mormons are wackos.
Obama can release his college transcripts while we wait for Trump’s taxes. Right?

I always have been a great fan of coon skin caps.
Mitt’s Mormon, Beck’s Mormon, some of their candidate’s strongest support was in strong Mormon states which ran caucuses instead of secret ballots. (Top Mormon state - Utah, Cruz just under 70% in caucuses. 2nd most Mormon state Wyoming, Cruz 66% in caucuses. 3rd most Mormon state, Idaho, Cruz led at 45% but that was a primary, so it may be more reflective of true rank and file wishes.)
Just like Catholics turned out for Kennedy in 1960, Mormons turned out for Cruz in 2016. Particularly when they were being watched.
Good to see Romney pulling for Hillary out in the open.
Not content to just lose his election, he’s now trying to compromise the elections of others.

I wonder if this is the same non-existent “bombshell” Mittens proclaimed a few months or is it a NEW non-existent “bombshell”?
Looks like Romney has already run out of ideas about how to attack Trump if he’s having to recycle this old one already.
BTW, I wonder why Romney’s attacking the GOP nominee instead of attacking Crooked Hillary about the “bombshell” emails on her illegal server that have been hacked by every clandestine service in on Earth? You don’t suppose the real reason Romney is attacking Trump is because Romney is jealous of Trump’s success in light of Romney’s own pathetic failure, do you?
