President Obama addresses graduates at Howard University
“Be confident in your heritage. Be confident in your blackness,” President Barack Obama told graduates and their families at Howard University’s 2016 commencement ceremony.
Obama told the graduating class that success is based more on luck, not hard work, and those who achieve great things do so because the fates have shined brightly upon them.
Successful people are “just lucky,” Obama said, Breitbart reported. “It wasn’t nothing you did.”

Because you’re ‘just lucky’ they can tax all your earnings at a punishing rate to spread the wealth around.
If successful people are just lucky, then “minorities” are just unlucky. If they’re unlucky, then how can they blame Whitey for the lack of success?
So, kinda like a backwards wheel of tax fortune?

After letting this bang around in my head and getting pissed off about it, I suddenly realized this may be the first honest thing this joker has ever said about his own past and political path. And just because it’s the truth of his personal experience, it must be so for everyone. January cannot come soon enough.
The video of this speech is hard to watch - he is obviously boiling mad when he says the part about “your success is due to luck,” AND he adopts just a bit of black southern dialect. Ugh. Just go away, poseur.

It wasn’t nothing I did. Just work 2 jobs for the past 26 years, pay off my own college debt, mortgage, cars, pay my children’s way through college, (they be white middle class so they be not gettin nothin from the govment), on and on. I would be offended, but this is the constant mantra by this man in office. HE HATES AMERICA, when will the low fo group get this, or do they even care.
I don’t think Soetoro has ever affected a thicker black accent than in this speech at Howard. You can always gauge the depth of his contempt for his audience by the thickness of the phony black accent.
The whole “you didn’t build that” thing WAS based on ripping Obama’s words out of context. Originally, “that” referred, not to the business, but to roads, bridges, infrastructure. But he has since fully embraced the very interpretation of his words that he complained about.

Successful people also avoid falling for scams. I almost fell for ScAmway and DID fall for an ‘opportunity’ at an insurance company where you worked 10 hour days 6 days a week and was paid nothing for two months. That will teach me to take a job that isn’t either salary or hourly paid!
