Sen. Cruz has always been explicitly working towards an end of legalized abortion, an issue that is even greater than slavery in its moral dimension. The fight has been going on for well over 40 years. Cruz’ campaign was about that in a way that Trump’s isn’t.

So far, without one word being said against Trump, ten responses against Cruz’ long term goals and the man himself have been blasted.

I support Trump for president now that he has the nomination sewn up, but there is no need to seek out opportunities to attack Cruz when no attack on Trump is being made.

Do we want to win an election or do we want to destroy the #2 vote getter with the 99% conservative voting record?

I want to win the election, and I am backing Trump and saying nothing but good of him.

Follow Trump’s lead regarding Seanator Cruz (from CNN):

“He is one tough competitor,” Trump said. “He is a smart tough guy.”

Win, Trump, win. Beat Hillary.

Cruz threatening to restart his campaign, which would encourage his "Trojan Horse" delegates to withhold supporting Trump is MOST DEFINITELY an attack on Trump!

Cruz and Heidi would do themselves a favor to just get out of the public eye until after the convention. At this rate, they could end up institutionalized.

JMHO

Having seen what he attempts, compared to what he accomplishes, in the light of his incredible claims of memory and information failure, Cruz’s alleged conservative efforts strike me as nothing more than demonstrations. Pure window dressing and concealment of the real man and his true agendas.

“Sen. Cruz has always been explicitly working towards an end of legalized abortion”

Since when.....he has done nothing as a lawyer for Texas nor as a senator to end abortion

He has paid lip service to pro life ideas but that is all

By the way, Cruz is a lying politician who has spent his whole career working for the government.

He started out as a Bushie. His positions re dubious if you go back and check his history. He plays to the crowd.

By the way why won’t he release his mothers passport and citizenship records? She renounce when in Canada.

Why do Texas state divorce records show Ted’s dad divorcing his first wife in 1997...years after he was supposedly married to Ted’s mom.

Sorry there are too many questions that came out of this campaign. Including the fact that Ted’s wife Heidi spent part of her childhood in Kenya and Nigeria

As you are aware, the last months have been anything but civil on FR. There are a lot of hurt feelings on both sides. Cruz supporters are angry because Trump won. The Trump supporters are angry because Cruz continues his campaign. He never dropped out. Still sends emails saying he will be the nominee. He will not say whether he will support Trump....literally going back on a promise he made.

It is hard to unite on Freerepublic when the candidates are still divided.

And here is some more Heidi

“When asked what her role would be as First Lady, she expressed an intent to raise “the standard of living for those at the bottom of the economic ladder in this country”, explaining that her interests are on “the economic side”

“On December 3, Cruz returned to Texas and filed paperwork for her husband’s name to appear on the state ballot. She acknowledged she had previously filed for his name on ballots in previous states, but also said the Cruz campaign had “a campaign strategy that’s built to last, and we have built a grass-roots army that this country hasn’t seen since Ronald Reagan.”

Come on...it’s not unreasonable to note there’s a creepy factor there.
