I once was a Southern Baptist but they became way nutty lately and their numbers have been shrinking lately they used to be the Gold Standard not anymore

Maybe I'm too mule-headed to get along in a church. I've had a better relationship with God than I did before.
I understand there is now an openly gay (female?) about to be ordained by the (I think) Southern Baptists, who will be a military chaplain.
I was really shocked at that. I have a number of family members who are in the ministry of that denomination, and it is just hard to feature that.
