Donald Trump refuses to budge on Muslim ban, claims 'Islam ruining Europe'
A day after he became a presumptive nominee, Trump refused to budge from his primary election season's controversial rhetoric's in a series of interviews.
Republican presumptive presidential nominee Donald Trump has reiterated his stand on banning Muslims from entering the US and deporting illegal immigrants out of the country. The rival Hillary Clinton campaign immediately slammed Trump asserting that the former secretary of state would not tolerate this divisive and dangerous direction as the US President. A day after he became a presumptive nominee, Trump refused to budge from his primary election season's controversial rhetoric's in a series of interviews. In an interview with CNN, Trump did not back away from his proposal to temporarily ban all foreign Muslims from entering the US. At the same time, he said he would work with Muslim countries in the fight against terrorism. But the onus for this is on those countries first, he argued.
Taking a rigid stand, Trump said he does not care if it hurts him. "I'm doing the right thing when I do this. And whether it's Muslim or whether it's something else, I mean, I have to do the right thing, and that's the way I've been guided," he told MSNBC in another interview. "And I've been guided by common sense, by what's right. And you see what's happening. We have to be careful. I mean, we're allowing thousands of people to come into our country, thousands and thousands of people being placed all over the country that frankly nobody knows who they are. They don't have documentation in many cases ? in most cases.?And we don't know what we're doing," Trump said.

The Republican party was defined to long by the elite that pushed free trade neocon wars while keeping the base distracted over social issues they did nothing about when in power (abortion has been legal longer than I have been alive and I am middle aged - but pretending to want to ban it raises lots of money). Good riddance to that Republican party.
Well, you have only one choice. You can become a Trump supporter or you are a Clinton supporter. There is now no other option.
Plus it drives the media nuts as well even in Canada where they never miss an opportunity to bash Trump.

better to say I was not a trump supporter but now that he is the presumptive victor unless everyone ignores Cruz dropping out and he mysteriously wins on the first ballot I support Donald Trump.
I myself fluctuated back and forth on trump but now that he is the presumptive winner of the Primary I support Trump.
You will be a Trump supporter before long! The timing is different for everyone. My "Aha" moment was when Cruz blamed Trump for the leftist riots at his March rally In Chicago that got canceled.
Just ask yourself, what has the GOP won and what did they do and who have they really attacked since 2008?

In the weeks after 9-11 I asked a Hindu friend from India, what do you know about Muslims.

For both answers, they were ready to pounce with court records and God knows what else. For the second answer, they can say: “Oh yea, well what about this...” and then pounce with details - thereby turning something decades old into a real-time lie.
But Bush simply kept saying (to the effect): “There were some things that I did in my younger years that I regret.” They were pissed, but Bush nailed it perfectly.

I have to admit that I never thought of that angle. Europe seems unwilling to take the needed steps to save their society from civil war and then extinction...perhaps seeing Trump and the US doing just that will get the point across that it is doable, and it’s not so bad - at least compared to the alternative.
