CONCERNED scientists have revealed how we can prevent the human race from being wiped out and it involves either changing our planets orbit or uploading ourselves into machines.Hey, according to the article, it's only 500 million years away. That's why it's critical that the government set up an agency focused on changing Earth's orbit. I propose that they make it a cabinet position and appoint somebody like Bill Nye as Secretary of Orbit Transformation.

Scientists project that we will run out of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere in 11 million years.

Here is the downloading of human conscious into a test robot:
Good news: You are nearly indestructible.
Bad news: 5 day battery life.

we could slowly gravitationally nudge the planets orbit farther away from the sun
Sounds like a job for Cass Sunstein.

Stay put and wait for the government.

I think that is Doomsday II.
Regardless, always loved this line by Tom Landry:
When asked how the Cowboys were going to handle a sweep, Landry said: as long as they stay between the sidelines, Lee Roy (Jordan) will get em!!
