I can’t remember when I discovered Freerepublic. I’ll have to confess that I lurked/leeched for too many years, untill I finally joined in 2001.
I don’t post a lot (You’ve posted a total of 241 threads and 1,597 replies.) in15 years time. But I am always here(most always.)
I discovered that donating monthly is so painless.
Then Dollar a Day was not too bad.
So joining the 300 was just a little step.
Back 2 years ago when I got laid off after >30yrs and I retired, I stopped my Monthly. I know, a Stupid, Stupid move. I felt so guilty I had to start it right back up.
Well now I did it again. I got all conflicted with all the emotions this time around.
And I stopped my monthly again.
But I felt I had to participate on each fundraiser. So I did.
I should have known that every election cycle it gets crazy.
Well I’ve gotten over any conceived ill will and Caught up and am restarting my Monthly.
The internet would not be the same without FreeRepublic.
So if there is more that I can do to support the very best site on all the internet, please let me know how I can help out?
It does get a little crazy around here during elections! The great thing is that we do have a place to post where others are interested in what we have to say. FReepers will not always agree with each other but it would get boring if we did.

I have gone through the ups and downs of politics but FR has always been here to support me...when I finally went monthly I have never stopped, but donate a bit each month of the freepathon...partly at least to support the hard working team!
