British SAS troopers have successfully kidnapped three Islamic State (Isis) chiefs in daring lightning raids in Mosul, according to reports. The city is the largest in Iraq still under Isis (Daesh) control, but is facing increased pressure from the north, south and east by the Iraqi army, Kurdish Peshmerga forces and US-led Western airstrikes.

British special forces, including the Special Air Service (SAS), have been operating in Iraq in conjunction with other western forces to help plot attacks on the militants, with snipers taking out high-level members of the terror group on several occasions.

Full title: British SAS capture 3 Isis chiefs in daring lightning raids as net closes around Mosul

Excellent on the part of SAS. But here's the joyous part: "The captives are then handed to either Kurdish or Iraqi security officials for interrogation."

If there is justice in the world, film and audio of them being "questioned" by Kurdish fighting females will be posted on the internet.

Liberal males and liberal females, and all points in between will do what they always do - they’ll wet their panties.

Definitely one of the great things about England. They still produce world class commandos.

“Kidnapped?”

I must get back to school. I thought you captured enemies.

"British SAS troopers have successfully kidnapped three Islamic State (Isis) chiefs in daring lightning raids in Mosul, according to reports."

They mean "Apprehended", or better "Seized", not kidnapped. Are these ISIS chiefs regarded as innocent children being held for ransom?

Kidnapped, yet. Good grief.

The captives are then handed to either Kurdish or Iraqi security officials for interrogation.

I am sure the Kurds or Iraqis politely ask the captives if there is any information they would like to contribute.

I agree that “captured” would be more accurate than “kidnapped.” Hopefully, their interrogaters will politely ask them which they prefer.

In and before WWII, if you know where these people are, you just bomb a 50 square mile area around them into rubble, or burn it down like Dresden. No risk of American military casualties. The three are taken out. (And where there are three there are probably another 500.) It’s a win-win.

Since 'Nam...I am so tired of even one U.S. military life being risked when a B-52 could take care of the problem fine.

I thought after 'Nam it wouldn't happen again, but it became worse than ever as the 60s radicals like the Clintons took power. To them, if the choice is risking one enemy civilian life, they're willing to lose thousands of our soldiers to keep one collateral damage casualty from occurring.

I bet that on Trump’s inauguration day, hanging within 20 miles of an ISIS chief will be avoided like the plague. Trump “lightning strikes” won’t care if you’re a “chief” or an “indian”.

British SAS include many Scots and not just English soldiers. The “ladies from Hell” will help the B@st@rds sing.

Is that not the truth. They will not say a thing while Obama is still in power.

*******

Which is very odd considering how much the British government kowtows to Muslims.

Britain is a very old country and some traditions are pretty deeply implanted.
