A lot of arguments can be made against Trump the Candidate. His lack of Constitutional grounding makes me nervous, and I don’t know how he’s going to react when he tries to say “You’re fired!” and it doesn’t work.

Brilliant! This is what the appeal of Trump is all about. An average citizen writes an outline of how Trump will destroy Hillary Clinton with voters who have dropped out or never voted before and does so in two pages of hand written wisdom. This is the truth. Hundreds of pages of statistical analysis in this cycle are meaningless because they are built on Old Politics.

The "Monster Vote" is the voting bloc of those who had turned away from politics; those how gave up, and/or just never voted in the first place. This video was/is prescient in retrospect when you consider the record-breaking volume of primary voters who have turned out to support Donald Trump.

And just remember, after the Veep, Paul Ryan is next in line (providing he wins re-election). What a coup that would be for the GOPe - to get Paul Ryan into the Oval Office that way.

I don't remember anyone calling this a mandate, but I do remember it taken more as an affirmation of Bush v Gore.

This, on the other hand, was a wave election, and Bobo did claim a mandate:

A tsunami is approaching. This video sees the signs, just as many of US, WTP, saw the same when DONALD J TRUMP announced he would run in this race. His victory will be as large as Reagan’s if not larger. America wants to believe and America has the faith in her soul that makes that belief root and grow.

The primary vote for Trump has thus far been understated. Not only were many of the primaries closed to Democrats and Independents (many of which haven't voted in years if at all), but the fact that the Democrats have their own "Trump" in Bernie Sanders has probably suppressed significantly the Trump vote we will see in November when it's just Crooked Hillary on the ballot against Trump.

It may seem incongruous today that Bernie Sanders voters would vote for Trump but many of them will realize that a vote for the Wicked Witch of the Ozarks is simply a vote for the Establishment. As the general election develops, Trump will be established as the true anti-establishment candidate. Especially as many of the establishment Republicans are still fighting Trump as their nominee. The rejection of Trump by these establishment Republicans is going to win Trump millions of votes he otherwise would not have gotten if he were being supported by the likes of the Bushes, Romney and others of their ilk. By staying away from the convention, they are doing a huge favor for Donald Trump as he will be able to distance himself from them.

The Bushes are loathed by the Democrats and one of my biggest fears is that they will eventually come around and get behind Trump. To them, I say please don't! Please stay away! As Jesse Jackson would say: "Stay Out da Bushes".

Rank and file Republicans WILL come out for Trump as well as the blue collar Reagan Democrats. Trump will also clean up with the Independents. And as noted, If Trump can get 15% or better of the black vote, there is virtually no chance of a Democrat victory this November.

I'm thinking Trump can get 30% of that vote.

In western PA, just 25 miles East of the Burgh, the people I meet, in the stores, Church, golf courses, overwhelmingly give me a thumbs up for my "Make America Great Again" stuff.

Sure, some give me the finger, from the safety of their locked car, but I've never been verbally engaged by hildabutchbitch supporter. They can scream and rant, but not discuss issues.

It looks like a Trump tsunami in November in Western PA {I don't know how the city will vote}.
