Were you able to do much in your gardens today or is it too wet from the storm system that rolled across the country this week?

No dirt time today, unfortunately. It was the first day we could have actually gotten out into the garden, but i had errands all day,

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

We didn’t come home with a trophy, if that’s what you mean. But that’s not why I show the car. It was a beautiful day to be out, lots of people milling around, and lots of other sweet rides to admire. Had a blast and THAT’S why I show the car.

But tail feathers are draggin’ tonight. LOL! I only got around 3 hours of sleep.

Son and I had a good visit. He brought me a nice USS Arizona Memorial cap and a nice lithograph reproduction of USS Missouri, where the surrender ceremony was performed.

We had a nice visit.

It was a good time though the turnout was down a little from previous years. There were three other car shows today within 50 miles of here. I almost went to one 25 miles away but was too sleepy to drive that far this morning. Played it safe and just drove to the closest one (7 miles) instead. hee!

Glad y’all had a good time today. You’d mentioned he was going to bring a cap home for you but that lithograph reproduction of USS Missouri as well? Cool!

I’ll probably conk out earlier than usual but it’s still a ways off. :-)

I wish I did have some pix from the car show but sleepy-head me walked out the door without the camera this morning. DUH!! I knew I should have put it in my purse last night but nooooooo. Didn’t do it. :-(
