Trump is paying him to do the job. Trump is not selling out to anyone in return for favors. Trump did tell us he'd bring in the best people to get the job done, not necessarily people we'd like or even want to be around.

You know what? After that quick turnaround on the delegate theft situation which Manafort achieved, I trust Trump's judgement.

You might think of Goldmsn Sacks as the devil, but they have a lot of really smart people working there, otherwise they would not be so successful. If you had followed their investment advice over the last two decades, you'd probably be a millionaire several times over.

You probably hate the IRS too. But if you ever get audited, I bet you are going to want to hire someone who did audits for the IRS for dozens of years to be your representative for that audit.

Frankly if this guy is smart and understands the ins and outs of investment banking from the inside, then he is clearly the guy you want on your team.

I'm not a Trump fan, but I want him hiring the best people for the tasks. I don't care where they came from.

Why? The guy and his father were GS partners, leaving in the 90’s. They’re both geniuses. Tell me why? Should he have picked a guy like you to raise a billion dollars in a few months? You good at that?

I have asked this question now for three days. Is there a list of people FReepers are comfortable financing a POTUS run?

The question is, Does Trump want a competent, effective, money man or does he want a country club, neutered, wimpy, RINO that makes Gramnasty happy?

Trump is showing that it is far more important to get the job done than to play ideologue like Obama for the last 7 years.
