That photo was taken somewhere off DeWolfe Ave, in Fresno, (doesn't specify N. or S. DeWolf) and yes, it was a cotton and fruit farm but apparently very nice houses not sit on that land.
Almost looks like Las Palmas Ranch in Fresno where we picked cotton and cut grapes when we were kids. But it could be just about anywhere on the east side of the San Joaquin Valley.
