That photo was taken somewhere off DeWolfe Ave, in Fresno, (doesn't specify N. or S. DeWolf) and yes, it was a cotton and fruit farm but apparently very nice houses not sit on that land.
Cool. DeWolfe ave. is very near the old Las Palmas Ranch which I believe was on Olive and Clovis avenues. They had cotton, grapes and tree fruit and the property was lined with palm trees.
