The number of foreign-born people employed in the United States dipped slightly last month compared to the record high set in March, but remained above 25 million mark, according to data released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The BLS reports that 25,460,000 foreign-born people had a job in the U.S. during the month of April, a decrease of 281,000 compared to the month of March when a record 25,741,000 foreign-born people were employed in the U.S.
The BLS does not distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants, defining the foreign-born as:
Those residing in the United States who were not U.S. citizens at birth. That is, they were born outside the United States or one of its outlying areas such as Puerto Rico or Guam, to parents neither of whom was a U.S. citizen. The native born are persons who were born in the United States or one of its outlying areas such as Puerto Rico or Guam or who were born abroad of at least one parent who was a U.S. citizen.

With millions unemployed, legal and illegal immigrants hold 1/5 of US jobs.
That sure makes you understand why workers hate illegal immigration and H1B and H2B employment visas.
They're entitled.
You know the economy is bad when unemployment for even the illegals is going up.
I wonder what the percentage is for welfare programs?
The definition used also includes illegals and work visa immigrants. Those are the ones who questionable.

One source is the many foreign companies allowed to establish business enterprises in the U.S., and in so doing bring aboard their own people from their own countries to run those businesses. Generally they have American financial officers, and some management by Americans, but mostly their own people in the white collar positions.
Another source is the many companies being bought out by foreign entities, and then replacing American’s with employees from their own nationalities.
So between selling out our country, moving from our country to foreign countries with lesser tax regulations, and lesser environmental regulations, labor, etc., the Visa’s so prolifically handed out to replace American workers with lesser paid foreign workers, it’s no wonder the figure isn’t 125 million foreign born.
Come January 20th, they'll be one less foreigner "employed".
Big coincidence that 1/5, 20% of families in the USA have no one in the family employed.
I think I see a REALLY easy way for Trump to create 25 million new jobs for U.S. citizens with a couple strokes of his shiny new Presidential pen.

That number is around 295 million unemployed. Do the numbers and you will know the percentage of jobs going to foreigners while Americans are unemployed. This is a “tolerant” gift from the globalists...like Ryan, the “conservative.”
