A double edged sword is mentioned in Psalms 149, Proverbs 5, Hebrews 4, and Revelation 1. In all the cases it seems to be about how sharp God's vision is into separating good from evil in our hearts, and the hopelessness of deceiving Him in this regard even if we have deceived ourselves.
I don't find anything related that would make me think this gives us license to ignore the command of Jesus to treat all men as our neighbors.
But I find much related to encouraging us to help others in need. Copious amounts. Even commands to love even our enemies and to be kind to them.
