I guess he got a look at the poll numbers after the stunt he pulled. He not only blew it in this race, he prob has ended any political career he had..... HERE is the good news... All you hear is crickets coming from republican incumbents up for re election in the fall. You can bet they watched what happened to mitt and are scared shitless. as they should. I was quite happy with Trumps response to vicente fox today. I dont want him to play nicey nicey to these rinos. I want him to go in and break his leg off in their asses. I want to see him take down Paul Ryan in his Primary. I want to see him take down John Mccain. I want there to be a political bloodbath of the establishment. I want to see those that are currently in office and those that are in line to run, scared to death that the angel of political death is not passing over their ivory tower that night.
Then Levin. Let him go to the Libertarian Convention. He can be a keynote speaker; maybe they'll let him introduce Gary Johnson.

Cut off the gravy train, and the RINOs will eliminate themselves.
Cut off welfare and other benefits, and the Illegal Aliens will deport themselves.
Just wait and see, the Bushes and Romney will host a "convention" somewhere, and nominate Paul Ryan (or Romney himself). After Hillary is arrested, the Dem superdelegates will force a Biden/Warren ticket through in Philadelphia.
All that is needed then to complete the scenario is Clinton-Bush "national unity" ticket after the fashion of Bell-Everett, and there you are.
Perhaps we can avoid the 600 000 dead and 1/3 of the nation in ruins, but I'm not sure that's the way to bet.

You may want to go BACK across that bridge, and maybe in the not too long future.
There is also the old conundrum about painting yourself into a corner. The paint may dry WAY too slowly.
