Saudi King Salman could not hold back his emotions as he attended the graduation of one of his sons, Prince Rakan who finished high school studies in Riyadh.
I attend this graduation not only as Rakans father, but a father to all the students, King Salman said during a speech he delivered.
King Salman has made a habit of attending all his sons' graduation ceremonies, a sign of the importance the king places on education.
Before the ardha (sword dance) ceremony, Prince Rakan presented a sword to his father, which caused the King to get emotional seeing his last son graduate.
Does anybody remember what happened to the Shah?
Yes, Jimmy replaced him for Radical Islamic leaders.
An actual edumacation seems SO haram. Jus’ Sayin’
When Saddam’s spawn had someone do the sword dance, they died. Some kind of a peaceful Moslem thing.
Wikipedia reports twelve sons and one daughter. Hmmm.
The shah died in Egypt 11 years after being deposed.
One year after being deposed.
I know I’m all choked up. :-)
