What are they talking about? Since 9/11 we show up two hours before boarding time. That’s two and a half hours.

I have to agree with them about Denver; TSA lines there are horrendous.

Going from international to domestic at JFK is chaos. Even with Pre-check.

Depends on the airport and time of day. I use a relatively small regional airport, and the wait varies between “none” and half an hour. Major airports varies between “none” and an hour.

Anymore my plan is to arrive at airports two hours prior to departure for domestic and three hours prior for international flights.
That increases the likelihood of navigating security, reassembling carry-on luggage, getting dressed again, and reaching the gate without running and getting all sweaty.

Flew in and out of Indianapolis from Billings last week. Indy's relatively new terminal was bright and clean. Had pre-check, had to wait about 5 minutes after arriving one hour pre-flight.

And yet muslim/undocumented airport personnel are free as a bird to go about their ‘business’.
And yet they don’t profile, as political correctness is more important that getting the job done.
And yet the Feds will not secure the borders. In fact, they’re helping them to fly/bus/walk in; placing them in undisclosed areas that even state Governors are not aware of.

Biggest PITA was our last trip to Europe having to change Terminals at Heathrow to get our connecting flight.

I recently took a trip to Phoenix from Wyoming and we just drove instead of dealing with the nonsense at the airport. Plus we got to bring our guns along on the trip.

Thanks for posting the article
. This is a good reminder to tell my company that we need to increase the travel time estimate that we give the customers that we charge on a time and expense basis. For the leisure travels, this is just a PITA. For the business travelers, there is a significant cost associated with this that ultimately gets passed on to the consumers.

I had to go through Heathrow right after the Europeans started requiring all liquids in a separate plastic bag.
Of course most Europeans hadn't got the memo so it was a long slog waiting for people to empty their purses and backpacks to show all their liquids to their version of the TSA.
I think I had close to 2 hrs between my flight from the US landing and my next flight out of Heathrow and I got to my boarding gate about five minutes before boarding.
Horrendous.
To: dfwgator
I did that Wednesday at Heathrow. If not for a delay I would of missed the flight.

Heading to LAX on Sunday night for a trip to the South Pacific. The shuttle van’s picking us up at 8:00 for a flight that leaves at 11:30. The drive is about 40 minutes so we should have enough time to get properly felt up and x-rayed by the TSA.

I arrive 2 months early for my flights.

In the meantime, the feds are bringing in 200,000 more "Syrian migrants" with no idea who they are and the border is wide open with cartels, drugs, criminal invaders and gang members, er, I mean, "unaccompanied minors" pouring in by the millions - most of whom we are subsidizing with our tax dollars and many of whom are registered to vote for more Yankee bling.
The United States isn't for United States citizens any more. It's just a big grab bag for the world to exploit or terrorize into submission.

I’ve been flying for 15-20 years, and have never had a client get charged for travel time! And that’s on T&E projects too.
