The Cardinal Archbishop of Cologne, Rainer Maria Woelki (pictured), has publicly criticized leaders of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) political party for their statements against Islam, insisting that “whoever says ‘yes’ to church towers must also say ‘yes’ to minarets.”
The Cardinal was reacting in particular to recent statements by AfD deputy leader Beatrix von Storch, who told the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper: “Islam is in itself a political ideology that is not compatible with the constitution.”
“We are in favor of a ban on minarets, on muezzins and a ban on full veils,” said von Storch, who is also a member of the European Parliament.
In his videotaped response, Cardinal Woelki suggested that all religions are equally well suited to German culture and law. “The religion of Islam is compatible with the German constitution just as Judaism or Christianity are,” he said.

If this loser thinks churches and minarets are the same he needs to be kicked out of ministry.
Isn’t this catholic church just a front for one world government or some other form of socialism? They defy the rule of law and provide sanctuary against it.

If this false prophet thinks Christianity is the same as Islam, he will be sharing eternity with the Muslims in Hell. Jesus says, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but through Me.”
I confess, and I mean that in both senses of the term, that I think of this man the way Paul thought of the judaizers in Galatia. The good news is that judgment begins with the church, and I have nothing to lean on except Christ when the judgment comes because I am chief of sinners (Paul was wrong about that), but it will take removing such heresy from the church in order to equip it for the spiritual warfare against the damnation of Islam that is already here.
IOW, Jesus = Mohammed and God = Satan.
The archbishop has a death wish...for himself, Christianity, and civil Western societies.
Then these “leaders” wonder why people are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with “Christian” churches. How contrary to Jesus statement: “I am the way the truth and the life and NO MAN cometh to the father except by me.”
That is about like saying Gatorade and anti-freeze look alike, so both are fine to drink.

Except none of us ACTUAL Catholics actually go for that stuff.
I would not and did not paint all with the same brush but your leadership right now are just socialists and you have a lot of really misguided leaders. Everyone is corruptible and most can be led astray.
What the heck is wrong with my church? It seems all Catholic hierarchy are imbued with cultural and personal suicide wishes.
