GREENFIELD, Ind. At a campaign stop just days before the critical Indiana primary, Heidi Cruz, wife of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, said one of her husband's strengths in the campaign is that he "is an immigrant."
"Ted is an immigrant," Mrs. Cruz said, emphasizing the word "is." "He is Hispanic."

Are you not understanding that there is NO impeachment of a U. S. Senator authorized? That is the issue. Nothing else.
To: dynoman
A man cannot be a natural born citizen of two countries.
Ted, by Canadian law and by birth on Canadian soil, is a natural born citizen of Canada.

Yes, we apply the appropriate standard for each office. The president must be a "natural born citizen."
And, NO exceptions!!

Amazing how nobody is able to ask Teddys mom any questions. Does Cruz chain her up in a basement or something? I've been wondering that for a while too.

According to our government he isn't a NBC!
Even Naturalized American citizens know what it takes to be a NBC, since our government hands then study guides, with the correct definition in it.
Obviously, Immigrants know MORE about it than YOU do. LOL

I believe that we all have an obligation to comply with the Constitution. I won't vote for a candidate who I believe is ineligible because I believe that it is my duty to consider a candidate's qualifications. If we don't comply with the Constitution, how can we expect anyone else to comply with the Constitution?
If you haven't been considering qualifications when you vote for presidents, I encourage you to start doing so. Its important!!

You're arguing with what our Constitution and our present government claims a NBC is.
And Teddy wasn't an American citizen at birth; he was a CANADIAN CITIZEN !
To: Karl Spooner
You haven’t demonstrated any understanding of that so far.

a "natural born citizen."...the theories of any dead Swiss philosophers. The word "citizen" came from that "dead Swiss philosopher". All of the framers were previously "subjects"...we don't have those here in the USA.

If you have concluded that Teddy isn’t eligible to be president, you shouldn’t vote for him.

ROCKLOBSTER, I have heard all about the Swiss theories. I found them unconvincing.
But, I have no objection to you deciding the matter for yourself. It is important that all of us consider eligibility when voting for electors. Choosing a president is an important business. Don't let anyone discourage you from doing what you believe to be right!!

So Heidi Cruz agrees that her husband is Constitutionally ineligible to be President or Vice President. Stunned that she would say such a thing. Some will say she didn’t realize what she was saying, but that would make her stupid. I don’t think she’s stupid.

It could very well be that too many voters have determined that Cruz is ineligible. No one should ever vote for someone that he or she believes is unqualified.

So up to 1966, she was a US citizen.
The question then is, what happened in Canada in regards to Eleanors citizenship?
In one of the links I posted it states that passport number was determined to be invalid.

And you've not answered my questions.
What law are you using? Natural or positive law?
From whence does the definition of natural born citizen you use come?
