Meghan McCain: Carly Fiorina is great because she ‘warms up Ted Cruz’

Fox News host Meghan McCain argued on Thursday that GOP hopeful Ted Cruz had been smart to choose Carly Fiorina as his runningmate because she “warms up” the Texas senator.

“I love Carly Fiorina,” McCain explained on the Thursday edition of Fox’s Outnumbered. “She has gone after Hillary Clinton the hardest. She rips out her jugular and serves it to me on a platter, which is what I want coming up in the election.”

“What I like about Carly Fiorina is she warms up Ted Cruz,” she continued. “She’s going to reach out in Indiana to moms to women. How much this ultimately moves the needle, I don’t know. But his campaign is in trouble and he knows it and he had to do something.”

McCain recalled that Fiorina had told a story during a speech on Wednesday about singing a song with Cruz’s daughters.

Really sad. I’m a Trump supporter and have been from almost the beginning, but also respected Ted,didn’t attack him here, and was happy to support him. However, by hanging in, destructively and egotistically, after getting statistically eliminated, he showed himself to be a dubious pick because of his bad judgment and failure to understand how pointlessly destructive his continuing actions are. After all,most of us suffer some setbacks in our careers and find it necessary to pick up consolation prizes to enable us to end up with something instead of nothing. Ted should have taken his.

Actually that's the first amusing thing you've posted since I first took passing notice of you, one of the funniest things Trump ever said when Christie was still one of his rivals was when he responded to a question about the difficulties his Atlantic City casino had experienced and said:

"The only mistake I made with my casino was having an all-you-can-eat buffet in the same State as Chris Christie"

And knowing Christie, he probably snickered, wrote it off as 'that's politics' and didn't hold it against Trump.
