Last night I watched a Trump Rally for the first time.
Two impressions left by 1 thing he did.
He had the families of about 10 murdered victims, all killed by illegal aliens. You know some of the higher profile cases. You may not know how the city councils in SF and LA laughed at and ridiculed the families when they asked the cities to send illegals to ICE when they are ready for release from jail.
First from a political standpoint. It was genius. I couldn’t think of another pol who could gather such a group and he opened the rally with them and the father of the LA football player spoke for the group.
Secondly, that was heart rending. Take away the political impact, it was a very warm human thing to do, unlike bringing parents or things who were killed in self-defense into the WH and glorifying the thugs.
Triumps stock doubled in my eyes last night.
I try to watch a Trump rally speech about once a week to measure the evolution of his campaign.
I actually saw the first part of the rally you reference this morning. It was good.
My biggest takeaway from watching my weekly Trump rally is how they don’t resemble the GOP Inc media’s depiction of hateful and filled with angry white men. They’re fun and funny, and actually pretty optimistic.
