Cruz allies and people close to the campaign describe a budding sense of gloom, with internal polls diving as Trump mounted even stronger than expected showings in his native northeast. In Indiana, which Cruz backers once believed they were favored to win after his strong defeat of Trump in Wisconsin, Cruz's numbers have fallen precipitously: Once leading, Cruz now trails in the state by eight to 10 points, according to a person who has seen the numbers, with Trump over the 40% mark. Cruz's campaign did not respond when asked about those figures...

Slate is actually quite fair-minded.

I agree for the most with Jim Newell’s analysis.

Is Trump secure in being the presumptive nominee?

Time will tell.

“If the Cruz campaign is lucky, the Fiorina selection will provoke Trump into saying or doing something egregiously sexist before May 3. For Trump, the only thing standing between him and the nomination may be his ability to avoid that simple trap. Will he be able to do it?”

So what if he does, will it really matter? Did it matter when he called Hillary a crook? Suggested Megan Kelly had blood coming out of her whatever . . . Made a remark about Carly’s looks (can’t remember what he said.)

Did it matter when he called McCain a coward, Cruz a liar, or Jeb is low energy?

I think Donald Trump is made of Teflon.

It's like the scene in Roger Rabbit where Roger is hiding in the crawlspace and Judge Doom keeps saying "shave and a haircut" and tapping on the walls.

Roger is turning red, biting his nails and trying to resist but eventually crashes through the wall and yells "two bits!"

She is a piece of work. Her stories of this and that at HP are BS. She was FIRED. She is as full of S— as a Christmas turkey is of stuffing.

Jeb Bush backs it. They have blown some 3 million in Indiana alone. Club for Growth loves Cruz (Heidi).

Interesting this article says that Cruz’s own internals show him down 8 or 10 points in Indiana!

CNN has consistently delivered the best political reporting on the GOP race this season.

My attorney lives in Palo Alto, and he told me FioRINO was a “politically correct” hiring that really backfired. He name merely creates snickers and a few guffaws.

Thanks for the input. It appears she did OK at her previous employer, but; hiring a CEO at a Corp like HP without prior Chief Executive experience is asking for subpar results.
