Yesterday I saw a city bus that was entirely covered in a big ad from the Army saying that all jobs are now open to women. I have misgivings about whether this is a good idea, but it might allow them to up the quality of the male volunteers.
The one thing it does NOT do is make our Army stronger, all the PC bilge notwithstanding.
Commanders are responsible for the lives of their men.
The mere act of accepting command of a combat infantry unit demonstrates that she does not value their lives.
This is a selfish act for her own personal glory. And it will cost good men their lives.

Well, since 2011 when the ban on gays to serve openly in the military was lifted the phrase “never leave your buddy’s behind,” now apparently takes on a whole new meaning...whatever, I’m sure, hell I’m positive that this makes America a more fierce and feared fighting force or they wouldn’t have done it, probably saves tax payers money too!
I heard back when some women made it through Ranger school that one of the unspoken truths was that the women had been allowed to concentrate on personal training for months with no other duties before their class whereas the men all kept doing their regular jobs right up to the day they began. Is she one of those women?

My Co A platoon in WW II was headed by a Lt. A captain headed a Company, some 250 men, I think.. still pretty good.
How long before she quits, then sues the Army for a hostile work environment because those under her command did not respect her un-earned authority?
No offense to the female members of the armed forces that post here, but I’m da*m glad my kid isn’t being led by this officer.
I notice no other women have passed Ranger training since!
