Something tells me that Cruz hasn’t once in his life played a pickup game of basketball. I could be wrong, but he has always looked ‘soft’ to me. And he’s not that old...just 44.
He was all book and no play is my guess.

I respectfully disagree.
Cruz plays in pickup games, even when he isn’t picked for a team.
Then his team gets crushed 108 to 15, but he plays to the buzzer anyway.
Come to think of it, I’ve never seen him throw a baseball, either. The last thing we need is another sissy throwing out the first pitch for baseball games.
