[Harmless Teddy Bear]

I am convinced that people in government just don't understand that I want to be left alone.

At the federal level I want them to protect me from aggression from other countries (That includes unofficial invasions) and deliver the mail.

I want the local government to fix the darn roads and quit making those stupid bike lanes that took out five parking spots from in front of my shop.

I pay my taxes. Is this too much to ask?

No, it’s not too much to ask, it’s what they’re for. They seem to forget that though, they’re more concerned about getting more taxes and fees to support their little kingdoms.
