Yeah, that’s me - high density. I’ve been through a ton of diag mammos and biopsies, often every 6 mos, since 2011. This is the first time they all seem frightened, though, and insist on MRI which showed something. :-(
Mine were every six months for a while but last time things seemed clear and they told me come back in a year. Except for the density, I don’t have other risk factors which help my case. No cancer of any kind in the family, etc., I’m healthy, very active, and low weight so they don’t panic when they “think” they see something, but I do. I completely understand the fear and anxiety you are going through. Just keep in mind that MOST call backs turn out to be nothing. I pray this is true for you. Also remember that medicine now is amazing. I have several friends that have survived breast cancer long term and you have my prayers that all of this will turn out fine for you.
