In what many are calling The End for Ted Cruzs presidential bid, Donald Trump ran away with the North East, sweeping PA, CT, RI, MD, and DE in epic Trump-fashion.
It will become increasingly difficult for an already mathematically eliminated Ted Cruz to continue to justify staying in a race after this monumental shellacking.
Ted has defended his odd decision to stay in the race by claiming that Trump has no path to 1237. After tonights humiliating defeat will anyone seriously buy what Teds trying to sell?

DEVASTATED!
Your overheated reaction to a post not directed to you indicates that you are suffering from PDD.(see DSM-IV 299.80) Instead of obsessively supporting a loser, you might return to switching the lights on and off while following the progress of the ceiling fan intently.
..Cruz may have won 54 pa unbound delegates in the first round in cleveland. you do not know....
The majority of the 54 have apparently committed to vote for whomever won their districts.
Yep, I did notice a nice nod to Priebus. Something tells me they will not prevent Trump from becoming the nominee!!!
Auto fill destroys me...
Explain to me why Ted lost the south
He sounds like Dale Gribble of King Of The Hill.
When has Cruz ever been honorable?
Seriously
Southerners are smart?
LOL. I turned the damned thing off. Got me in too much trouble :o)
Great tagline btw.
Bingo, that has been my theory all along. She will not debate Trump in a fair setting. No way she will. Also, the ads haven’t even started against her. Just wait till it is one on one. The Don is going to roast her.
Wow...who on Earth does these illustrations????
Ted only needs shy of 135% of the remaining delegates!
Go Ted, go!
[back home, FFS]
Ted lost the soy? Say it ain’t so!
Has Ted given any kind of speech yet tonight, concession or otherwise? I’m working on a deadline and can’t turn on my TV.
While that is true, according to CNN interviews with 135 of the 162 candidates on the ballot about 25% say they’ll support the front-runner, another 42% say they’ll support their district’s choice, which means Trump should have the support of 30-40 delegates. These are political people who also want their downticket candidates to do well and some are officeholders themselves, and have personal motives that are not compatible with ignoring the overwhelming vote of the people in their districts. Just because they “can” doesn’t mean they “will”.
Amen!
“With The Comb-Over as our nominee in November, prepare yourself for that unfortunate headline”
The Anointed ‘Seventh King’ lost in Every County, in Every State tonight. F-ing pitiful
Dropping coins in Ryan’s re-election race? Are you nutz????
