Yes. I was initially a Cruz supporter who turned to Trump when I found out who Cruz was. I was willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt when he said he had become pro-life.

But, as everyone knows his willingness to allow the killing of some babies in the womb especially rape and incest babies, dampened my enthusiasm. Then his opposition to the transgender law was
a kick in the teeth.

Otherwise, he is great.

Hope people would make every effort to convince Trump to become more conservative on those issues.

I think he can beat Hillary and could be a great president.

1) Most people who do not otherwise support abortion do not condemn it when the baby was conceived by rape or incest. Trump's view is no different than the majority view. In any case, turning people against routine birth-control abortion is far easier and more likely to save more lives now. Once the culture condemns birth-control abortion, then it is time to start getting the culture to turn against other abortions. That is, start with the easy, winnable battles and worry about the difficult ones later.

2) The "transgender law" is a red herring, and I think Trump sensed that. I do not know if there are or were actually laws against transvestites using women's restrooms, but it is such a rare thing that it never even crossed people's minds until some liberals decided to specifically make it *not* against the law. When people reacted to it the way most people did, the liberals got exactly what they wanted. They successfully took a non-issue and created an issue. The best thing to do is ignore it. If a woman sees a man in the restroom, she'll respond the same way she would have responded prior to this "law"--she'll leave.

re: the social issues

At this point, look where we are. We got our pols elected, and they've been very good at ending the slaughter of the pre-born. But we're losing in the courts on EVERYTHING. The Judiciary is as corrupt, and maybe more out of touch, than the pols who sell us out.

We can't save life or even our right to use public bathrooms if we don't do better as a society that demands a Judiciary that understands civilized and moral behavior. At this point, we have a nation that needs saving.

Trump can turn things around. I trust Trump to do the best on those issues. Why? Look at him and listen to him talk about his family. He has a sense of love and decency that few other politicians exhibit.

I am absolutely in the same boat as you!!! You described my thoughts so precisely I’m a little creeped out!

I ended up voting for Trump today in PA and will pray for him to move more to “our” side on those issues.
