Exactly. Rush loved Trump in the beginning...because Trump took it to the MSM and called them out. Rush thought Trump's campaign would crash and burn. Rush is shocked that Trump has done so well.
The other thing I've noticed is I think Rush is truly jealous of Trump. Trump has quite a lifestyle...wonderful kids and family...billions of dollars....and a beautiful wife.
Hannity seems fine with Trump. Rush does not. It's not about beating the Hildabeast for Rush. He's just jealous of Trump...plain and simple.
