Bryan Adams, next it wasNick Jonas and Demi Lovato have canceled their upcoming tour dates in North Carolina in protest of North Carolina's controversial Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act (HB2) law. Widely perceived as being anti-LGBTQ, the stars join artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Boston as acts who have recently pulled the plug on North Carolina shows in response to the new law.
"After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to cancel our Honda Civic Tour: Future Now shows in Raleigh and Charlotte. One our our goals for the tour has always been to create an atmosphere where every single atendee feels equal, included, and accepted for who they are," they wrote in part in a statement posted on both of their Twitter accounts.
There are three more short paragraphs but for some reason the site will not allow me to copy and paste.

The problem is that Catholic lying Ryan acts just like a liberal democrat. As did that drunk Boehner. Spare US the whitewash.
And what’s also pathetic is the phony comparisons the trannies make to segregated drinking fountains back in the not always good old days to their own current “plight”. But “piggybacking” on the Civil Rights movement is how the LGBT rolls. Amazing considering they pride themselves on their talent and creativity yet they rip off other peoples struggles as their own.
I can see that a lot of folks think the best way to solve problems is to decide who to blame rather than getting everyone who is willing to solve the problem together and solving the problem. Fixing the problem rather than fixing blame is just so old fashioned.
Christians who respond to a post like mine that alluded to a successful boycott that was once a factor in this country with BS about how horrible Catholics are may as well just admit they'd rather attack Catholics that turn the country around and be done with it.
Such folks are fine examples of just how far what passes for Christianity in this country has fallen.
He sings like McCain talks, with his teeth angrily clasped together.
Don't bother to mention the fact, FACT, that all the people you name as examples don't profess the Catholic faith but instead profess the exact same, "I read Scripture, listen to the pastor, and decide for myself" doctrine all non-Catholics preach. Nope, don't bother with that, just as long as they were baptised Catholic as an infant and don't attend The Church of What's Happin' Now that's the ticket. What they actually believe doesn't matter, right ?
Have you even read the history of Catholic productin code for Hollywood that Hollywood complied with until the early sixties ? LOL, you enjoy that beam now, ya' hear?
I sure am glad the campaign is in enough of a lull to let the crowd who have as their favorite passtime attacking Catholics to get a little exercise in. Don't want em' to get rusty.
Have a lovely day
Your church has far more representation in elected and appointed offices and you feel entitled to point fingers... Go ahead, reap the whirlwind.
Well, they certainly don't bother to read the law - they just go along with whatever the emotion of the moment is. Look at the headline: "Anti-LGBTQ". The concept won't withstand even a casual examination, but it isn't even getting that.
The Left destroyed America quite effectively in the 70's by removing all traces of critical thinking skills from K-12 curriculums.
You didn't pay a bit of attention to my original post and the point which was boycotts, you just decided it was a good hook for your anti-Catholic BS.
Has anyone ever questioned the loyalty of the black vote to the dimocrat party?
Face it...you tried to blame Protestants for the political/social mess in this country when in reality, as a percentage, catholics have contributed more to the mess with their voting patterns.
