My kid played football with Grant. His life is royally screwed up over this and there is nothing he can do but file a law suit. Completely stupidity.

How did schools become the primary investigative unit of a crime? They are all attended by adults. You might as well be prosecuted by your employer.

I read the story:

1. He says it was consensual.

2. She is of age, says its was consensual, that he’s a good guy, and she filed no complaint.

3. Apparently a jealous co-worker noticed a hickey and reported it.

4. The school and everyone ignores the testimony of the victim-who-says-she-is-not-a-victim.

Take away: women are not capable of consenting to sex.

Colleges encourage free and unrestrained sex in order to make the students break free of the shackles of the moral system they learned from their parents and church. This is the natural consequence.

“Didn’t call her. She got upset.”

Did you even read the article?

She’s not upset. She didn’t complain.

She says he’s innocent, a nice guy, and getting railroaded.

Just another reason for young men not to engage in casual sex

The school is being dictated too by the Feds who, rather than using their brain, have put in a zero-tolerance policy and washed their hands.

If Neal had actually raped her, he’d be in jail and this would be over, but he did NOT do anything wrong.

Some where his name is on a list and there is no recourse for him to correct what is really a very simple situation. If colleges kicked out every guy that had sex with a co-ed, there would be a lot more room in the dorms.

Mean-while, this kids life is completely trashed. Very sad deal.

Here’s a much more detailed summary.

This is absurd.

He needs to look at transferring to Baylor. A sexual assault on one’s record is a plus to the athletic department there. University of Kansas might also be on his short list.

This is happening all over the country. These Title IX “investigators” are totally out of control. Kangaroo court.

Certainly college football players who apparently have no rights. If he wasn’t a sports guy... no one would have noticed or cared.

Frankly I wish more young men were taught that casual sex is a bad idea. Athlete or not. It is not the way to treat the woman you hope to be the mother of your children.

I would add that young women should be taught to avoid casual sex as well; athlete or not. That is just not the world we currently live in and destroying this young man’s life because he engaged on consensual sex is 100% dumb.

Because the Federal government has enchained them with Title IX. Several years ago the federal bureaucrats unilaterally reinterpreted Title IX to cover sexual assaults, and informed the schools that they needed to hold these hearings BEFORE notifying law enforcement (even if reported assaults didn’t happen at the school). If the schools disobey that instruction, they will lose their federal funding for violating Title IX.

Here’s the “Dear Colleague” letter that led to all of this:

I agree that young women should be taught the same thing.
