Pathetic – Ted Cruz and John Kasich Announce Joint “Never Voters Campaign” To Stop Donald Trump…

Posted on by

After the complete Trump New York victory, both Ted Cruz and John Kasich were mathematically eliminated from any possibility of winning through voters. The #NeverTrump campaign shifted and rebranded itself #NeverVoters.

Last night, facing the looming probability of complete defeat on April 26th in the North East primary states of: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland and Delaware, the Ted Cruz and John Kasich campaigns announced publicly their intents to draw their last-hope firewalls in Indiana, New Mexico and Oregon.

The most current polling of Pennsylvania looks like this:

3 candidate Pennsylvania Poll - 4-24-16

(full pdf of results here)… and the Trump campaign has also ramped up the voter information for the unbound PA delegates (SEE HERE) turning the tide of in favor of Team Donald Trump in the Keystone State.

As a direct consequence of the growing support for candidate Trump, and with looming electoral defeat on the horizon, the Ted Cruz campaign now places all its “never voter” efforts on stopping Donald Trump from winning Indiana. However, Donald Trump is also polling ahead of Cruz in Indiana – so the Cruz campaign approach throws a Hail-Mary.

In an effort to improve fleeting chances, Team Cruz has struck a deal with the Kasich campaign. Team Kasich is to pull out of Indiana, and Team Cruz will give them free reign in New Mexico and Oregon.

From the desperate campaign of Ted Cruz:

cruz bum[…] “our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico, and we would hope that allies of both campaigns would follow our lead. In other states holding their elections for the remainder of the primary season, our campaign will continue to compete vigorously to win.” (link)

The campaign of John Kasich agrees to the strategy and announces they are withdrawing from the Indiana contest and will focus their efforts on New Mexico and Oregon as requested:

Kasich never voters 1

Included in the Kasich announcement is a request to the Super-PAC’s spending on behalf of both ‘never voter’ candidates:

cruz kasich
“We would expect independent third-party groups to do the same and honor the commitments made by the Cruz and Kasich campaigns”.

So the Cruz and Kasich campaigns are committed to each other, and both jointly committed to the ‘Never Voter’ mission. Interestingly, for Team Cruz to give up Oregon they must have internal feedback from private polling showing their chances were diminishing rapidly.

Canada Cruz and John Kasich have now declared the obvious.

Cruz and Kasich are regional candidates, of interest to only selected pockets of the United states.
Cruz and Kasich admit they have neither the organization, nor appeal, to win a national campaign against the Democrats

Ok I’m Trump’s campaign adviser and here’s what I’m telling him. In the beginning of the campaign we all signed an agreement stating that whoever the nominee is, the others running would not run as a third party candidate.

However, because the “others” are now colluding to PREVENT you from becoming the nominee, you have no choice at this point but to withdraw from running for the Repug nominee and run as a third party candidate.

The GOP would beg Trump to come back if he laid that on them.

My sense is that this is a terrible decision on their part. If Trump wins Indiana, then there is no doubt that the two of them — even when colluding — are being defeated together.

The momentum gained tomorrow will dishearten everyday voters in Indiana. It would me.

Knowing that my guy can’t win even if he takes every single delegate remaining, that he just lost by a landslide in the east, and that he has to play games just to try to get delegates — that would keep me at home or cause me to change my vote.

....IMHO, the Republican party is a shell of an organization as we knew it say, 4 years ago....

The GOPe owns that 100%.
coming up to 8 years of 0bama
-NO budget
-NO push back against 0bama
-NO push back against Reid/Pelosi
-NO fight against 0bamacare
-NO Wall (which has been funded for decades)
-Illegals driving drunk, killing Citizens, filling the prisons
etc.

And the GOPe wonders why support for JEB, McLame, Gramnesty, etc has vaporized

The Cruz-Kasich merger is out in the open, announced by both campaigns, and perfectly legal. Therefore, this arrangement is NOT collusion!

The Donald loves to play the victim...just like all good Liberal Democrats! Think about it!

The way I see it, Donald is soiling himself over this because he can do basic addition...

559+148 = 707

While 845 is still greater than 707, the numbers show that Cruz and Kasich may be able to march into Cleveland with a very credible alternative ticket that could appeal to most at the convention. Cruz-Kasich just rolls off the tongue!

Plus, you have two strong Conservatives uniting both ends of the party spectrum, a young Constitutional visionary working with an experienced pragmatic budget-cutter! Contrast a party unifying Cruz-Kasich team with the Liberal Trump-Whoever (Oprah, Bernie, Kanye, Omarosa, Carson, Christie) ticket? What self-respecting Conservative Republican will have the stones to embrace Trump as his VP? Jeff Sessions? Think about it!

And then, if you throw in Rubio’s 171 delegates plus the current ~100 RNC-controlled delegates...

559+148+171+100 = 978 (before the remaining primaries get counted)

These exciting possibilities may be why Mr. “Art-of-the-Deal” was blowing kisses to Rubio last week, hinting at VP! Think about it!

You know, if Donald is secretly calling “Little Marco” to obtain his delegates in exchange for the Vice-Presidency, that might be actual “collusion”! Trump is always prone to project his own bad behaviors and foibles upon others...think about it!

Tuesday 3 May 2016: all 57 of Indiana’s delegates to the Republican National Convention
are allocated to presidential contenders in today’s Indiana Presidential Primary.

27 district delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the
primary results in each of the 9 congressional districts: each congressional district
is assigned 3 National Convention delegates and the presidential contender receiving
the greatest number of votes in that district will receive all 3 of that district’s
National Convention delegates. 30 (10 base at-large delegates plus 17 bonus
delegates plus 3 RNC delegates) statewide delegates are to be allocated to the
presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes statewide.

“it means that Hilliary will be the Commander & Chief and that means that Putin and the rest of the Axis of Evil will be breaking out the Champagne while America and her allies descend into the some kind of Rome burning mentality”

No. Putin and the Russians are all for Trump, not Hillary.

You must be so proud of your RINO ticket! Why it just "rolls off the tongue" - just like Romney-Ryan!

So, when your own party has 8 bullets in the chamber and the pistol is pointed at your own temple, with the hammer cocked, what can one do?

The never Trump crowd is so pathetic and transparently crooked. The people realize this and will continue to rise up at the ballot box.
These two LOSERS are finished.

I find this collusion totally unacceptable.

Thankfully, we won’t have to for either Cruz or Kasich.

“I’m very pleased for Cruz...locking up Ohio will put some stains in Hillary’s Depends!”

The polling in PA. and the North East shows Cruz will not get the support needed to win in FL, NC, PA. Florida and to a lesser extent NC, are their second homes. Cruz is dead in Florida.

Cruz supporters are going to realize what a terrible mistake it was to run this civil war deep into July. You’re going to realize that, just like his bomb throwing in the senate didn’t advance any cause, he will have destroyed any unity amongst the same “squishy Republicans, Independents and crossover Democrats he is so badly going to need in the swing states. A loss of Florida’s 29 electoral votes would require him to win WI and PA (and no, Kasich will not help him here) just to break even again; then carry the swing states of NC, VA,and OH.

At 8:01 on election night, because the voters he has insulted stay home, Ted Cruz will lose the great sunshine state of Florida, and with that, the election. (and no Wisconsin’s 10 delegates won’t make up for FL’s 29)

While you’re having a few beers to drown out the loss, you might do well to have a few shots along with it, because the GOP will lose Rubio’s Senate seat as well.
