This is done for the same reason as Obama used the FBI to prevent Congress from investigating Hillary Clinton and her breach of National Security with her unsecured e-mail server.
Congress can take no action on this until the FBI does it thing at the BIDDING of King obama for Queen Hillary

I knew long ago the fix was in for Hillary. But I have to admit to being wrong in one aspect. I surmised it would be from the illegal alien vote. Now that we see how easy it is to just have felons vote, voila! Hillary 16.

We need to challenge this in the courts so at least it does not become law until after the elections. We may need VA in the EV count.

I suppose felons voting for Hillary would best be described as “professional courtesy”.

I guess they figure that the dead vote won’t carry the day this time around.

You can always count on the democRATs to capture 100% of the felon vote. Birds of a feather and all....

Except that most of the re-enfranchised felons who have the energy and will to actually register and show up to vote will probably end up voting for Trump. Hillary will remind them of the b!+(# public defender who plea bargained their a$$ into jail. And if she thinks stumbling through an imitation of Aunt Esther is going to gain her the same votes as Obama in 2008 and 2012 she’s even more delusional than I’d imagined.

Many democrats don’t support murderers and rapists getting the vote. This is an excellent crossover vote opportunity for a huge backlash.
IF we have a crossover candidate.

Yes, this needs to end up in court, and the courts need to issue an injunction before this is put into effect.

It would interesting to know how many of these ex-felons actually voted before they went to jail.

Well put. Probably not many upstanding citizens among rapists and murderers.
BTW, I'm TIRED of "ex-felon" being used!
These guys may be ex-cons, but the felony is forever.
It's not "erased" by leaving prison.

It would interesting to know how many of these ex-felons actually voted before they went to jail. They will now. I agree with Rummyfan, can't the legislature do something about this? Can you folks in Virginia call your legislators and see what can be done? This executive fiat stuff, whether it's Obama or Governors, is just crap. We don't elect dictators. . or we didn't used to.
