ESPN sports journalist Rachel Nichols on Friday misrepresented a North Carolina law that prohibits people from using the public facilities of the opposite sex.
Ms. Nichols said the law prevents any city in North Carolina from passing legislation prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexuality or gender identity.
I know some people like to call this the bathroom law, but its about so, so much more than bathrooms, Ms. Nichols said on her ESPN show, NBA: The Jump. The new law in North Carolina takes away any North Carolina citys ability to protect anyone who is gay, lesbian, transgender in any way; to protect them from getting fired from their job, just because they are gay; to protect them from getting kicked out of their house, just because theyre gay.
North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory, a Republican, last week issued an executive order doing exactly the opposite.
Mr. McCrorys executive order allowed local governments the right to structure nondiscrimination employment policies however they choose.
The executive order also expanded state equal employment opportunity policies to include sexual orientation and gender identity.

?????????????????????????????????????
Most of the “male” ESPN hosts probably already use the ladies room anyway.
Protect them from WHAT? Behaviors have consequences; if the behavior causes you problems, change the behavior!
“ESPN shoots air ball with explanation of N.C. transgender bathroom law”
No, she hit a three pointer with the “big lie”. By purposefully lying she “informed” the ignoramuses that watch ESPN of what an awful place NC is. Job done.

Yep. They worshiped and served created things...
ESPN gets a lot wrong.

Let me guess what Donald Trump’s favorite network is.
Thanks for that link.
Sports analysts are borderline idiots whose sole talent is screaming old overused cliches into a microphone. And they wave their hands in the air a lot.
Theater critics should not be the assigned the job of foreign policy analysis. I’m lookin’ at you, New York Times.
Rules to live by....
What a quandry! I don’t want him in the Men’s room with me either.
