Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, “hates” the new Trump.
Coulter tweeted Friday that she wishes “Trump would go back to retweeting juvenile photos of Heidi Cruz.”
“I hate the new Manafort and Black Trump,” she added.
Trump’s convention manager Paul Manafort on Thursday told members of the Republican National Committee that the GOP presidential front-runner is “evolving.” “The negatives will come down, the image is going to change,” Manafort said.
Trump hired Manafort weeks ago to oversee the campaign’s delegate efforts. He has since been promoted to convention manager.
Once a regular on the Sunday morning talk shows, Trump has been noticeably absent since Manafort was hired.
Trump 2.0 is poising himself to defeat the Hildabeast. You'd think that Ann would recognize this.
Yes, he is running hard to the left and repositioning himself as a social and fiscal policy liberal. Anne isn’t the only one who is going to be getting heartburn.

This woman is completely unhinged - most of what she writes/says isnt coherent anymore. Pity - she used to have quite the biting wit and some intelligence to go with it.

Ann was once a very perceptive cultural analyst. She always went loopy at election time, but during the in-between years she was well worth reading.
I think Twitter is a big part of the problem for everyone these days. If you’re “published,” even at an outlet like Townhall.com, someone is reading (if not editing) and can say, “Please send us a column you wrote when you were a little more sober.” However, with Twitter, it’s straight from the fevered brain to the Interwebs.
(I say this as someone who has FReeped while drunk, but that reaches a very limited audience.)

Because Trump does not know how to think, he will always end up mirroring the local culture, and the individuals surrounding him. That’s why he’s always giving a nod and a wink to alt-right white nationalist freaks - because the liberals around him think conservatives are racists, and Trump figures to win the Republican nomination he must appeal to racists.
The man who cannot think will always he captive to others; in Trump’s case, to sundry liberals and lobbyists.
That stuff is going to come back and haunt him if he’s the nominee, you can bet Hillary will use that.

I think you are perceptive. Twitter removes editorial and review filters - hence, this effect. Same thing with Mr Trump.
Having Ann Coulter not happy with him is not a bad thing. She’s not admired by too many. I used to think she was pretty smart and sassy, but she’s getting a little bizarre - she thrives on controversy. She wants Mr. Trump to be a loose cannon like her, yet she liked Romney? Makes no sense.

After fawning over Christie and Romney it’s hard to say if Ann would recognize her own face in a mirror. Her meds ran out years ago. Of course, as someone who’s made a nice living as a sort of shock jock guest commentator a Hillary presidency would offer her four to eight more years of guaranteed employment. So there might be a method to her madness.

Not only was it juvenile and mean spirited, it gave the Hillary campaign a everlasting talking point on the dems fictional war on women meme...
Remember this wasn't a surrogate or sycophant posting that photo, it came straight from Trump Twitter feed, it's going to be very hard to walk that back in the people's mind after watching it hundreds of times via a Hillary political ad..
Maybe Mr. Manafort should recognize that Trump’s ‘negatives’ are a direct result of a 24/7 media onslaught of vitriol, lies and half-truths from day one.
It would be a mistake to take his eye off the ball (illegal invasion). In fact the Trump campaign should put that back on the front burner.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the tens of millions are supporting Mr. Trump because we know that unless the illegal invasion is stopped and reversed, we don’t have a country. Period.
Therefore, everything else is either a distant second or largely irrelevant.

I think this was their thinking in joining the European enterprise originally. Bring a bit of British good sense and decorum to the unruly Euro trash. But like an only child from a quiet household marrying into a big raucous family, the chances are you’re going to be more the moved than the mover.
