Hannity was always among my least favorite of the conservative talkers; usually I would have his radio show on at work for lack of anything better. I’ve gained a lot of respect for him this primary, and he’s been very fair and even-handed with all the candidates. Cruz’s little snarky tirade on Hannity’s show this week was an insult to Hannity and the show’s listeners when Cruz refused to answer a simple line of questioning, with a litany of lawyerly dodges and talking points.
Cruz apparently expects all conservative radio hosts to fellate him like Beck and Levin.
Yep, I believe you’re right.
I agree with you. I was no Hannity fan, but he has been smarter than nearly all of the other national hosts during this primary.
Well said. And don’t forget Rush. Rush is all in for Cruz... I don’t give a hoot about Levin or Beck, but Rush being a total rat’s a** to his listeners has really been disappointing. I thought better of him. Silly me.
I couldn’t agree with you more.
“...when Cruz refused to answer a simple line of questioning, with a litany of lawyerly dodges and talking points.”
I listened to that a few times. The more I heard it, the more I became convinced that he didn’t answer the question about delegates because he doesn’t have an answer. He has no clue about how the delegate system operates. He’s hired people who DO know, but he doesn’t. He came out sounding like every Democrat talking head we’ve heard for decades — obfuscating and BS-ing.
