I was watching Fox Business yesterday and they said Cruz had a 94% burn rate and unless his fundraising really increased, he was going to be short of cash soon. I wonder when his superpac folks will decide to stop throwing good many after bad. Probably soon.

FROM THE ARTICLE: On the GOP side, Cruz’s campaign raised a respectable $12.5 million in March, its biggest monthly total thus far, but it also spent $11.8 million, nearly as much as it brought in. As of April 1, Cruz’s cash on hand stands at $8.8 million.

Trump, too, is going through his campaign war chest quickly. His total haul for March, including the money he loaned his campaign, was $14.56 million; meanwhile, his campaign spent $13.78 million. His cash on hand at the end of March, $1.34 million, is actually slightly less than he had on hand at the end of February ($1.58 million).

Cruz had biggest fund raising day in April after NY loss. Money will not be an issue for Cruz.

Deep-pocket donors might decide to try to save their merchandise in the HOR and US Senate. Ryan and many others are on the slate to be Cantorized. (fingers crossed)
