I use YHWH so that no one will misunderstand to which ‘God’ I am referring. I am referring to the True and the Living Elohim, the creator of the Universe. I am not referring to Allah, or Baal, or any other created beings or things that men have treated as gods.
Did you know? It turns out that ‘God’ is the English spelling for the nickname of “Gadrael” the fallen angel who tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden. Since Satan is the God of this World and the God most people seem to be worshiping these days, using it doesn’t offend many, but if I could be offended, it would offend me.
If you are offended by the Name of the Living Elohim, then you should examine where your heart really is in relationship to Him. Why are you offended by His Name?
As for the Jews, better that they are offended now, and come to believe in His Son, Yeshua Ha’Mashiach, Jesus Christ then the alternative. The Messianic Jews I know use YHWH or some variant because they know they are not taking His Name to nothing, which is a more accurate translation of EXODUS 20:7 into modern English.
As a Christian, I don’t actually celebrate the Passover, since it was fulfilled by Yeshua Ha’Mashiach when He died on the Cross. However, I do take note of it, since the Jews believe that Elijah is going to return one of these Passovers, and this could be the one. Knowing from the Scriptures that Elijah is going to return before the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, and knowing that the Revelation 12:1-2 Great Sign in the Heavens happens on September 23-24, 2017, I think it is prudent to pay attention.
