What I get is that same sex marriage is legal in this counrty and it isn’t going away. Unless you have some kind of realistic and practical thoughts on how it’s going to be otherwise, then I think you’re the one who isn’t getting it. This battle is lost. I’ve yet to hear from anyone how Oberfell is repealed.

According to the fundamental principles, not just of America but of Western Civilization going all the way back to Cicero, laws or decrees which violate the laws of nature and nature's God or our Constitution are NULL AND VOID. In other words, legally, they simply DO NOT EXIST. In other words, they can only be ignored.
Any politician who doesn't understand this simple principle has disqualified himself from consideration for any office of public trust.
