Mere weeks ago, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of Texas pressured Ohio Gov. John Kasich to get out of the race for the Republican nomination because he had no mathematical chance of winning....

Wow. Is this a full-time job for you? How much do they pay?
When Trump gets 1237 Cruz will be eliminated. There will be a contested convention.
Nope. You need two competitors for a contest. Loser Ted Cruz can’t even beat no hoper Kasich. Trump will win more primaries in one day next week then Cruz has in the entire campaign season. This race is over.
If the contest for delegates goes into a contested convention, it will be madness. The result will be a divided Republican Party. It will take a Superman to unify the Party then. And if it fails, the unity needed to defeat the Democrats will also fail. Which is to say, any effort at unification should occur before the convention when clear minds can put their hard feelings behind them.
I have the feeling that there are subversives within the Republican Party pushing for a contested convention. They could be as good as insurgents manipulating the Republicans into self destructing. Once they have succeeded, the Democrats win. Once again Republicans are being played for fools.
Contrary to popular belief, we don't like someone who claims to be all in for God, and then run a campaign that's as dishonest as any in modern history.
Hypocrisy isn't well received.
Because if Kasich wows them at the convention and believes they will vote him in on latter ballots when the rules say they unbind or whatever? If the argument is he is staying in to win it in a contested convention like the rules allow for, why does it matter what ballot the nomination is decided on?

There is a pattern here. Maybe this will help some Cruzers open their eyes:

Spot on.
Ted is behaving like a petulant child seeking to cause mischief. Time for Ted to go back to his day job as a government employee
Oh but Ted is the annointed one. He will become this generation’s Harold Stassen
I totally agree with you. I’m of the same opinion. I’m in the north side of things and believe in Christ. Hypocrisy is the ONE thing that turns me off forever, in friends and politicians. I will have no trust in that person ever again.
Oh I want whatever you are taking
Oh I want whatever you are taking
Yes.
Is my guess too.
Really sad that you would denigrate the voters actually have a say in the selection of a nominee. Even worse is that you are parroting a GOPe talking point
True words.
The career government employee wouldn’t be in a losing position if he had actually won the South
When you are eliminated you are suppose to drop out.
He has a very realistic chance of a 1st ballot win and will do so.
