If the Cruz supporters are (like their candidate) such cry babies, wailing and whining away to the point that they would stay home on election day or even vote for Hillary Rotten Criminal, they were never conservatives to begin with, Sorry, the Trumpkins established the precedent here - for months I have watched as Trump supporters vowed to go 3rd party or stay home if the nomination is "stolen" from Trump. So it is pretty hypocritical of you to criticize Cruz supporters who would do the same. And how many people on this forum swore after 2012 that they were done holding their noses and voting for the GOP nominee as the lesser of 2 evils? Well, that applies even if (or perhaps especially if) Trump winds up being the nominee.

Put that broad brush away. Not EVERY Trump supporter swore to never vote for Cruz, including our Esteemed Founder. I was supporting Cruz before Trump even got into the race last year. But the fact is, IF the GOP were to somehow block or steal the nomination from Trump, (and you can bet your bippy they'll stab Cruz in the back too), are you willing to say that you'll vote for whatever hand puppet the GOPe installs as the 'approved' candidate? Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, or even Mitt Romney?
Trump would very possibly launch that third party effort because there would be nothing to lose at that point, if the GOP decided to commit political hari-kari and install some RINO rubber stamping bastard as their nominee, it would be a foregone conclusion that they would lose in the Fall to the 'RATS, therefore a third party effort by Trump would be the one and final opportunity to put an end to this UniParty treason.

How’s the election being stolen from Cruz? He’s losing fair and square at the ballot box.

Trump is much less objectionable from a conservative standpoint than either McAmnesty or Romneycare.
No nose-holding required for the first time in a long time.

I can see your reasoning and won’t disagree with it completely. About the only thing I can say that there is a big difference to me between “Trump having the nomination stolen from him” in maneuvering to get a 2,3, 4th round win and Ted’s mathematical elimination from a 1st ballot win.
